Too tired to think? Try this simple reset

This reset is so simple, quiet and always available-all you need are wet lips. (Get your mind out of the gutter! HaHa) So what is my newfound go-to for instant stress relief? Try humming. No thinking, no effort. Humming can calm your nervous system and help your body settle. Sometimes the smallest tools work best.

I can’t believe that I’ve never come across this yet in all my studying as a professional patient. Pretty cool.

  • A slow hum creates a low and soothing vibration in your body.
  • That vibration calms your nervous system.
  • Your breathing naturally slows down.
  • Your body gets the signal:you’re safe.
  • Stress hormones begin to settle.
  • Your mind and body are reset.
  • Even 30 seconds can help shift how you feel.
